After San Fransisco, I drove cross the State to Fresno by a
wonderful route to which Erica guided me.

Need I say that
as soon as I got into my room I had a shower and collapsed. I was able to find
an REI (sporting and outdoors shop) and bought some essentials for the Bearpaw Meadow part of my trip.
However, I have to say, I think I spent most of my time driving up and down endless highways (99, 180, 41, 168) always, it seems turning left when I should have gone right. Sigh.

Took me a long time to get
“home” again to the Super 8 <g>. They do offer a rather nice place to
stay – basic but they were very helpful helping me out with directions (and
guided me to a very good, clean and ‘safe’ Laundromat).
For the next couple of days, I basically rested up for my Bearpaw trip - did not take any photos. It was awfully hot (up to 115 morning, noon and night) and I stayed in and cool.
